Windy Weather

Today was one of those extremely windy days. One of those days where its too cold to go outside, so you try to find everything and anything to do indoors to keep yourself from going crazy. haha It was so windy I thought my wind chime was going to brake my window. hahaha Since I am on my winter break from school I have lots of time on my hands because it's not filled with books!
So what did I do all day long, you ask?

• Cleaned my house
• watched T.V.
• played PSP with my son
• browsed the internet A LOT!

This is when I realized, I need a hobby. hahaha I do pencil drawings a little bit. I mean I never finish any drawings that I start, BUT it is something I call a "hobby." Maybe I'll take up knitting...

Minnie Mouse Nail Design

Captain Underpants

Tra-La-Laaaaa!! My son is growing up really fast and my most favorite thing to with him is to read him BOOKS. He loves books. His vocabulary is increasing so quickly. He sounds like a short adult. hahaha So to encourage the expansion of his words. I have begun to read him chapter books. The Captain Underpants series are books I remember seeing as a kid but never reading. And I must say they are pretty funny.


After I'm done reading him this series I'm not to sure what else is out there. Any suggestions on any good kids' chapter books that me and my son would both love? leave me a comment!

Excitement!!

 It's getting close to the end of the year and I only have high hopes for what is in store for the next year of my life. I have started this blog so that the people I know and love can keep up to date on what's going on in my life. I also hope that this encourages a few of them to do the same so we can always feel close even though we are so far away. I'm not to sure how well I will keep up with this blogging thing because I have tried many times to keep a paper and pen journal but it never worked out for me. ha ha

But here's to the new year of 2011! Lets start some serious networking and blogging! :)
